This employment center, located just north of the N. Jefferson Avenue and Parnell Street intersection, will be primarily commercial in use with residential fronting the existing historic neighborhoods. A much needed medical center is proposed for the area as well as small neighborhood retail centers. This area also contains a large amount of stormwater treatment areas, due to its lower elevation, and is located along the proposed Great Rivers Greenway trail, consistent with the vision of connected and dispersed green spaces.

Medical: 120,000 sq ft
Retail: 62,000 sq ft
Residential: 500 units
