Through all of these projects, it has been approximated that the entire development has the potential create almost $8 Billion for the region. It is anticipated to create 65,000 jobs (43,000 construction and 22,000 permanent). By this job creation, that would yield an annual payroll of almost $1 Billion.
Should the City of St. Louis agree to the redevelopment area and grant the first portion of the TIF allocation to begin the necessary infrastructure projects, job creation would begin almost immediately.
