As mentioned previously in the vision, economic development is one of our targets to help create a sustainable community. Through all of the construction projects and creation of new office, retail, and industrial space, we would hope to create an increase in household income, employment rate, percent of population above poverty level, and minority and women owned businesses.
In addition, the City of St. Louis would recognize an increase in real estate taxes, personal property taxes, earnings & payroll taxes, sales tax, and utiltiy tax.
